Livestock University is a new series that will take place hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Fannin County. The first program in this series will take place on February 4, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bois D’ Arc Creek Cowboy Church in Bonham. This program will focus on an overview of the Beef Cattle Industry more specifically focusing on the different sectors also including information regarding: organic, grassfed, and conventional beef cattle operations. Dr. Robert Wells, Noble Foundation Livestock Consultant will be delivering the presentation. We will have several programs within this series throughout the year and hope to increase knowledge within land and livestock stewardship and production.
